The big reveal
We we’re thinking about keeping the photos of the master suite secret for a few more days – and instead go back to the other rooms and show you the before and afters. But I am terrible at keeping secrets…especially one this good so here today, we will share with the world our new sleeping abode! Finally the moment has come…we have kept you in suspense for way too long…here it is…drum roll please (come on get on with it!!)
…the master bedroom (ignore the lamps, new ones to come!):

Here’s the master walk in robe (that my nieces call Aunty Shell’s shop!):

And finally, here is the master ensuite:

So what do you guys think??? Did we do okay?
Now I know a few of you are doing bathrooms yourself and were hoping to pick up some ideas or tips to give it a go yourselves. So if you have any questions, just post a comment and we will do a post over the next few days to respond to your questions.
I hope you have enjoyed checking out our master suite – our favourite room in the house. We’ve put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this room but it has been a very enjoyable experience for us both.
Have fun!
Michelle

Omg!!! Amazing! Im seriously obsessed with this! You two did a wonderful job!
Thanks Jami! We’ve had such a fun time seeing this room come to life. It’s amazing when you have a vision and can make it happen
Oh WOW absolutely amazing, you 2 lovelys are soooo aligned in your design thinking…..Love view of Gold Coast skyline woohoo naked!!! The`bed head is wonderful, Michelle did you build it? Much love xx
Thanks Trish! Yes, it’s a very sexy room indeed!! Both Clint and I had a hand in making the bedhead…he actually does very good upholstry!
A total transformation. Simply brilliant. Thank you for not keeping us in suspense any longer.
It is a total transformation Tiff, I still can’t believe we created it from scratch! We love it so much we’re scared to use things for fear of getting them dirty!
Wow, great job guys! Love the mirror behind your bed – what a great idea.
I can’t quite work out the layout of this room. Where is the entry? And where’s the WIR?
The mirrors make such a difference Sally, unbelievable! The room is narrow and long so it makes it feel much larger as well. In regard to the layout, if you stand looking at the bedhead, on your left is the entry door and behind you next to the sliding door on the right hand side is the opening for the WIR.
oh drooool!!! love the mirrors….and the bathroom…..and the closet…..the lot really! absolutely lovely.
great job!!!
cheryl xox.
Wow! You’ve done such an amazing job. The bathroom is to die for. Congratulations!
Bec xx
Thanks Bec! We are sooo in love with it! Wait till you hear how much it cost us to do…we should start a guessing game and see who gets close..everyone is going to be very suprised at the cost
