Well there really was never a question as to whether we were going to find out the sex of the baby before it is born. I am a planner and I like to know what to anticipate so I can do my “planning thing”.  We’ve literally been counting the days until we could have our next scan and find out.  There’s been lot’s of speculation over the past months, people guessing, our intuition, old wives tales.  Let’s just take a quick view of what our intuition has been saying…

Michelle: Boy
Clint: Boy
Clint’s mum: Boy
Michelle’s mum: Boy
Michelle’s dad: Girl
Expensive (but was highly recommended!) psychic: Boy

So intuition votes in…it should be a BOY.

Now let’s take a look a how true those old wives tales are:

It’s a boy if…

• You didn’t experience morning sickness in early pregnancy – true
• Your baby’s heart rate is less than 140 beats per minute - false
• You are carrying the extra weight out in front - false

So if we tally them up, the result should be a GIRL.
